Can I swim in my Tan?
At Three Warriors, we get that our warriors often lead an active, Australian beach lifestyle so by all means go for a swim in your tan.
However, be mindful that most gradual tan, fake tan and spray tan solutions won’t last longer than 5-10 days. And often swimming in your tan can shorten the lifespan. Why? Because skin cells shed every 10 days and as skin cells shed, so too does your faux glow (aka fake tan).
Be it heavy sweating from exercise, water, chlorine from the pool - all will naturally dry out your skin and make skin cells shed more quickly. This means that natural fake tan won’t last as long. So do your best to moisturise daily and then hit refresh weekly using our Tasmanian Sand Scrub to scrub, tan, repeat all Summer long!
Can I use it with Retinol or other skincare actives?
Yes! The Hydrabronze Tan Drops contain Pentavitin, which helps protect your skin barrier and adds hydration, supporting the safe use of actives like retinol.

At Three Warriors we’re committed to giving you a golden glow and natural fake tan every time. But, sometimes if you’ve been a little lax on scrubbing (exfoliating) then a streaky tan can happen.
If you wake up to a streaky tan or streaky spray tan happens, don’t panic, we’ve got you!
The best thing to do is to use a small amount of body exfoliator (such as our Three Warriors Tasmanian Sand Scrub) and gently massage it on the areas where you see excess pigment or the streaky tan appearing and allow it to slowly melt away the lines, allowing a natural tan to evolve.

How long will Fake Tan last with each Three Warrior product?
Well warriors, this one is all down to you and the fake tan or tanning product you choose to use! All of our Three Warriors tanning products have the ability to last a while, depending on how regularly you choose to apply them!
The Three Warriors Gradual Tan works to develop over time and be worn every day for a slow, steady natural tan progression, so with this natural fake tan (and our face tan), the sky is the limit! Keep applying daily for an ongoing glow.
If you are a little lazy or just too busy to do it daily, the Three Warriors Self-Tan Mousse needs only 1-2 applications (depending how dark you wish to go with your face tan and fake tan) and will last approximately seven days.

So you like to work up a sweat? Doesn’t mean you can’t boast a golden glow while you do it! All our Three Warriors natural fake tan products are designed to ensure you get the best faux glow minus a patchy fake tan or patchy spray tan look.
While we do our best to ensure the tanning products are of the highest quality, organic tan ingredients, sometimes sweating after a spray tan or a patchy spray tan happens. Be it clothes rubbing against a fresh spray tan or a little post-exercise sweat, patchy fake tan can happen.

Will Three Warriors products stain my sheets or clothing?
As natural and organic tan products, Three Warriors not only uses the highest quality natural ingredients (read: no toxins) our fake tan doesn’t contain the same toxic chemicals that usually appear in tanning products, instead using plant and vegetable derived ingredients. What does this mean?
With non-toxic pigments used it’s a lot less likely to transfer to clothes and sheets. However we recommend all our warriors wear loose and dark clothing while the tan develops, just to be on the safe side! The same goes for sheets! If any tanning products do transfer to sheets or clothing, be assured that our ingredients are water soluble and should wash out - no staining agents are in the products.
