Scrub and Prep:
Start with clean, exfoliated skin for the best results. Use a gentle exfoliating scrub, like the Tasmanian Sand Scrub, to remove dead skin cells. In the shower, apply a small amount of scrub to your damp skin and use circular motions to buff away any rough patches. Pay special attention to areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. Once you're done, rinse thoroughly and towel dry.
Mist for the Face:
For your face, spritz a hydrating self-tanning mist evenly across clean, dry skin. Hold the mist at arm’s length and spray in sweeping motions for a natural glow. Avoid touching your face until the mist has dried completely.
Mousse Application:
Pump the mousse onto a tanning mitt for body application. Starting with your legs, apply the mousse in long, even strokes, working your way up the body. Use a small amount at first and build up the colour as needed. The mitt helps ensure an even application and prevents staining your hands.
Blend and Buff:
Use the mitt to blend the mousse evenly, especially on tricky areas like your wrists, ankles, and feet. For extra precision, you can use a smaller brush or mitt to buff the mousse into delicate areas like your hands and feet for a flawless, streak-free finish.
Allow to Absorb:
Let the mousse absorb into your skin for at least 5-10 minutes before getting dressed. Wear loose, dark clothing while the tan develops to prevent transfer. For a deeper glow, leave the tan on for 4-6 hours before rinsing.
Glow and Maintain:
Once developed, shower off the excess product and pat your skin dry. Enjoy your glowing, sun-kissed look! To maintain your tan, moisturise daily and reapply every few days as needed.
